- Michael and his band have just booked July 10th & 11th at the "Americana International Music Festival" in Nottingham England, to kick off his 2009 European summer tour... Yeeee Haaaw !!! Here we go again
- Michael got a new Pro Tools Recording Studio last summer and is recording away at demos of new songs he's written and cuts for a new CD, as yet untitled. He already has about 25 songs ready to go and is busy trying to dream up some more kick Ass Honky Tonkers...

- Junior Brown's released CD "Down Home Chrome" will delight fans. Last year Ballew recorded at The Tracking Room in Nashville with Junior. Musicians showcased are Pig Robbins on piano; Michael Ballew and Tanya Brown playing rhythm and Pete Amaral on drums. A highlight is Junior playing his psychedelic guitar (as only Junior can do) on Jimmy Hendrix "Foxy Lady". No mistakes allowed when you record straight to 2-track...
